MR.FARHAD TEHRANCHI

experience summary

Mr. Tehranchi has over 22 years of engineering experience in the design, supervision, planning, construction review, startup and design review of nuclear power plants.  He has over 17 years of ASME code committee experience in the development of ASME code requirements for the inspection and operational testing of commercial nuclear plants.  He has been responsible for mechanical design of both BWR and PWR plants, including design changes and technical support of plants for procurement  of  mechanical components and the repair and replacement activities of three nuclear plant sites.  He has been responsible for the startup of a commercial nuclear plant , including reactor engineering and planning and performance of startup procedures.  Field experience includes 5 years of construction acceptance testing, startup testing and shift supervision, field investigations of construction activities and review of the plant for licensing readiness.  Mr. Tehranchi has managed the development of  several inservice inspection programs and is the ASME Section XI code expert in the continued support of The Southern Company nuclear plants and the advanced nuclear plant designs.

Academic degree:  B.Sc. of mechanical engineering (4 years) , Technician of welding engineering (2 years)

Professional Qualification:

  •  Level II certificate of RT, UT, MT, and PT according to SNT-TC-1A.

  •  Welding inspection certificate (SWIP 3.1) issued by TWI-England.

  •  Four Welding Method certificates issued by Germany welding institute.  

  •  Advance pneumatic certificate issued by FESTO institute.

  •  Welding Specialist certificate issued by professional technical organization of Iran.
